I have recently come across some early 80’s OMNI magazines in storage….those images(unfortunately they are not a part of a whole) are found on pages 110-115 from the November 1982 issue. They are from Japanese artist Yoichiro Kawaguchi, who was exploring the world of computer graphics as an electronic microcosm for evolving new flora and fauna from simple logarithms. It’s a very cool article…..”These principles can be used to re-create plants that died millions of years ago or to predict future life”
